Overview

We have built a beautiful place for these children to grow up in, to be challenged by their teachers, to be known by their teachers, and you can now stand in the center of the quad and see this experience laid out in front of you.

If we want students to be their greatest self, they need all of these opportunities in order to fully develop into the person they most hope to be.

You can head in any direction. You can head into any one of those buildings, and you're going to find things that challenge you and that allow you to be your full self.

The physical structure around us has caught up with what our philosophical position has been for some time. The essence of Burrows is what goes on inside of these buildings and out there on the playing fields.

Who we are as a school hasn't changed, and what we do in the classroom with the kids haven't changed. It just makes those moments even more powerful, more impactful.

We're preparing our students to go out and serve our communities, to be better human beings.

And our students develop confidence as a result to go out into the world and do great things.

The STAR building is more than 76,000 square feet, and it only took 11 months to build.

There are over 26,000 books in our library.

Did you know that 522 term papers were written last year?

Our super mileage vehicle attained 519 miles per gallon, beating its own record by almost 100 miles per gallon.

There are more than 200 pieces of professional art within our school. In the last 10 years, we have won 59 state championships, 135 Final Four appearances, and won 42 district championships.

100% of our students participate in the arts.

Last year, 261 students traveled 1.2 million miles to 15 destinations worldwide.

There is, at Burrows, this incredible belief that we can all improve. This came from the founding of the school, from all the students who have been here, all the teachers who have been here and celebrated the arts and celebrated athletics and celebrated the academic achievement here. And now we have physical facilities that support those programs and those students and those teachers. Everybody who is a part of this school wants to make this education something that families can bring into their lives, who are kind and who are curious and who are excited about being a part of what I think is the greatest community I know.
